It all began in the 1980s when hundreds of immigrants, mostly Ghanaians became hot in Nigeria, and hurriedly stuffed their belongings after given short notice to leave the country [Nigeria], the stripped bag most Ghanaians used as the symbol of the exodus became known as 'Ghana Must Go.
