They don't call her an influencer for nothing! Now Kylie Jenner has sparked off jelly nails, a throwback trend from the 90's.

Garden and fishtail eyebrows are among the quirkier beauty trends that have taken social media by storm in 2018. And now transparent 'jelly nails' are the latest craze taking over Instagram by storm, thanks to Kylie Jenner.
The 20-year-old last week posted a snap of her fluoro-pink translucent acrylic nails and sparked a new craze in the beauty world.

Jelly nails are also referred to as glass nails due to their transparency. Differing from regular fake nails, which have a block of colour, jelly nails are see-through. Sometimes they can be clear, or coloured with a translucent effect.
The extensions, are designed by filing the natural nail to the nail bed and painting acrylic over the top of a cone. They are then painted in clear or Nineties-inspired candy colours, and can be adorned with glitter and jewels.
Photos sweeping Instagram show women with long talon-like nails, but you can get a shorter tip if that style isn’t for you. And people have been experimenting with the tips too, with some opting for a boxy finish while others have sharpened their talons into fine points.
Others have customised their tips with stickers or gems instead, another way of ensuring your nails are unique.
