Lifeless body of catholic priest found in Benue State

Adeyi's abductors refused to release him, even after his family paid N2 million to them, the ransom that was demanded before they could set him free.

According to the Daily Post, Adeyi was kidnapped two months before his body was found. His abductors demanded a ransom of N2 million, which has been made.

However, his abductors refused to release the priest after the family of the deceased paid the ransom.

Daily Post also reported that Adeyi was on his way to Otukpa, in the Ogbadibo Local Government Area to settle a dispute he was abducted.

Enenche Enenche, a popular comedian confirmed the story of his death.

He said, “It is true.

“His sister, Sarah confirmed the death after Adeyi brother’s attention was called to the ill sight this morning.

“His brother, in the presence of residents and policemen, confirmed the body was his brother’s.”

Adeyi recently celebrated his silver jubilee as a catholic priest, report says.
