Woman who absconded on wedding day resurface in Oshogbo

The bride who absconded on the day of her wedding has reportedly called her family members to tell where she is hiding.

Taiwo Isaac has been left devastated after Abiodun absconded on their wedding day

Punch reports that the bride who stunned her husband-to-be, Abiodun Isaac, their families and guests by refusing to show up for her wedding in a church in Ondo town, Ondo State, and had remained incommunicado since then, suddenly put a call to her parents telling them she was alright and afterwards promptly switched off her phone again.

It was gathered that despite the call, Orimoloye refused to tell her parents her exact location and refused to state why she abandoned Isaac at the altar on their wedding day.

A resident of the Christ Land area in Oka, Ondo, where Orimoloye’s parents live, disclosed that though she had called her parents, no one could tell her exact location.

“She called her parents on a telephone line on Monday. She told them that she was in Osogbo. Her call has doused the tension in her family.

Everybody is happy that she is alive and well. But the reason for her action is still unknown and we do not know what she discussed with her parents. Her father has gone to meet her in Osogbo and we believe all is well with her.”

A family source has, however, denied reports that Orimoloye eloped with another man on the day of the incident as she is a very good Christian and comes from a religious home.
