Young girl murdered, eyes gouged out in Bauchi (Graphic Photo)

A young girl has been murdered by people suspected to be ritualists with her eyes gouged out in Bauchi State.

Another of such cases was recorded in Dass Local Government Area of the state after an eight-year-old girl was killed while her vital body parts like the eyes, limb and private parts were removed.

According to a journalist based in the state, Dauda Ibrahim Sarki who posted the sad incident on his Facebook page in Hausa language, the body of the girl whose father is a traditional ruler in the local council, was discovered on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in a bush behind a school called Moses Bunu Primary School.

The young girl had been earlier declared missing by her family and after a long search, her remains were recovered in the bush and the manner of her murder suggesting she had been killed for ritual purposes.

It was gathered that the police have been informed about the incident and they have begun investigations so as to uncover the people behind the unceasing killings.
