The 7-year-old girl is now esponsible for taking care of her ailing grandparents all by herself.
According to Shanghaiist news, Miaomiao takes care of many of the household chores at the family's home in an impoverished Hubei village outside of Yichang city, China. She helps her grandparents peel potatoes, wash the dishes and sweep the road outside of their home.
Her grandmother is mentally disabled and has trouble using her right arm. Meanwhile, her grandfather suffers from a rare skin disease that means his skin can't be exposed to too much water, especially in the winter. China Daily added.
Even with these serious responsibilities, Miaomiao has been able to excel in school.
