Their clever plan fooled the theater's staff and earned them a spot on Reddit's front page Monday. Their video has since been viewed more than 17,000 times.
Matthew said Johnson's video wasn't the first time he attempted to smuggle a friend into a movie theater, but the previous attempt involved stacking one person atop another under a trench coat.

"We tried it like that about 5 years ago but they were not buying it. They charged us for 2 tickets because we were too tall!" Johnson wrote.
