Fake spiritualist in prison for duping woman after a 3-day sex romp

A fake spiritualist has been remanded in prison custody for defrauding a miracle seeking woman after having sex with her.

According to PM News, the 35-year-old scammer identified as Lukman Olanrewaju, had allegedly lured and engaged the woman, Adeniran Mutiat Jumoke, on a three-day marathon sex deliverance under the false pretense of curing her of abject poverty.

The incident reportedly happened at 14, Akinlegan Street, off Dele Ara Bus stop, Abaranje, Ikotun area of Lagos State, where Olanrewaju had taken the woman to.

Apart from having non-stop sex with her, the fake spiritualist was also said to have defrauded the woman of the sum of N208, 000 before allowing her to go.

The Oyo State-born Olanrewaju who was docked at the Ejigbo Magistrates' Court on charges of conspiracy, sexual assault, and stealing, allegedly met got the woman after she complained that she was not doing well and needed spiritual assistance to uplift her to success.

Olanrewaju then promised to assist her but asked her to pay N208,000 that would be used to buy some materials for prayer.

He also told her that she will also embark on spiritual deliverance which involves doing some extraordinary things.

The suspect then informed her that he will engage her for sex for three days and thereafter, perform other rituals after which she will become rich at a certain period.

She allegedly gave him the money and did the other things he requested, including sleeping with her for three days.

However, trouble started after Olanrewaju obtained the money, and there was no improvement in her condition which became worse off.

When she went to him to complain, she could not find Olanrewaju at the house where the rituals were performed and it was then she realized that she had been duped.

Jumoke then went to the Idimu Police Division to report the scam and Olanrewaju was trailed and arrested.

During his interrogation, he was said to have confessed that he duped her because he had no such power to cure poverty.

When the charges were read to him, the suspect pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mr. A.A. Fashola admitted him to bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum, while ordering that he be remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.
