The duo were reportedly arraigned before Mrs A.A. Famobiwo of magistrate court 3, Surulere for assaulting the FRSC official whose identity has been withheld.

The suspects, Nwandu Onyeka and Okechukwu Jackson, were arraigned on three count charge of conspiracy, assault and obstruction.

Onyeka and Jackson pleaded not guilty to the charges, and have been granted bail in the sum N50,000 and two sureties respectively.

The case has now been adjourned to July, 18, 2016 for mention while the duo have been remanded in prison until they can perfect their bail conditions.
