RCCG pastor abducted

The pastor identified as Bajomo, was reportedly kidnapped while preparing for a workers meeting before the Sunday service at the Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos branch, yesterday July 24.

News reports have revealed the abduction of a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The pastor identified as Bajomo, was reportedly kidnapped while preparing for a workers meeting before the Sunday service at the Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos branch, yesterday July 24.

Church members have disclosed that some unidentified persons had entered the church pretending to have come for the service, before they brought out their guns and ordered the pastor into their vehicle.

An eye witness identified simply as Williams, said:

“He was busy preparing for the meeting, when suddenly some people came in dressed in beautiful attire and they were taken for members who had come to worship. It was not until they pulled out guns before it dawned on us that they are militants."

The pastorate is yet to receive any news on a ransom fee or a motive behind the kidnap.
