The Benue State Police Command is on the lookout for a graduate, Godwin Orinya, who allegedly beat his mother to death.
According to the Daily Post News, Orinya, who graduated from the University of Jos, Plateau State, was surrendered for mental treatment by his family following a recent strange behaviour.
Report says he was receiving care from a man in the Agboke, Ohimini Local Government Area of the state.
It was after the man went out to get some herbal ingredients for his treatment that the graduate descended on his mother, killing her in the process.
Orinya reportedly ran away from the local health center after the incident.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, told Daily Post News that his men are currently searching for Orinya in order to ensure he does not hurt another person.
