Woman Caught With Child’s Corpse In Lagos

The woman was said to have been seen wandering the streets with the body tied to her back.

Residents of the Mile 2 area of Lagos were thrown in shock when a woman was discovered on the street with a child’s corpse on her back.

The woman, simply identified as Florence, was almost killed by a mob which took her for a ritual killer but she was rescued by the police.

The body of the child had begun to rot with the eyes already popping out but Florence was oblivious to this and had reportedly been lugging the corpse around for 3 days when bystanders noticed that the child was unresponsive.

Many who witnessed the events believed the woman to be insane but the police have said that all will be unveiled after their investigation.
