Pregnant woman bathed with hot water by neighbour in Lagos

A pregnant woman is currently battling for her life after her neighbour bathed her with hot water during a quarrel.

A six-months-old pregnant woman is currently in hospital nursing wounds inflicted on her by neighbour who bathed her with hot water during a quarrel in their 'face-me-I-face-you' compound in the Bariga area of Lagos State.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident which happened on Gbagada Road, in the area on Friday, October 9, saw the pregnant lady being bathed with the hot water by her neighbour after they had a quarrel over the use of the general kitchen.

The attacker was said to have accused the pregnant woman of leaving dirt in the kitchen and a quarrel ensued which led to her being bathed with the boiling water.

Other neighbours who intervened in the fight, reported the matter to the CMS Police Station, Bariga, and the attacker was arrested while the pregnant woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is receiving treatment.
