On January 26, 2022, legendary Nigerian rapper, Remilekun Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, announced his sixth album, Alaye Toh Se Gogo with a track of the same title.
The record was his follow-up to 'Omo X 100,' the short 2021 collaboration with Olamide. This album will also be his follow-up to 2020 album, Vibes and Insha Allah.

The record samples the classic Tony Tetuila song, 'Sere,' which features the legendary 2baba and it was released on the Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye-led Kennis Music. It follows a similar inflective tone to 'Omo X 100.'
