The record was his follow-up to 'Omo X 100,' the short 2021 collaboration with Olamide. This album will also be his follow-up to 2020 album, Vibes and Insha Allah.
The record samples the classic Tony Tetuila song, 'Sere,' which features the legendary 2baba and it was released on the Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye-led Kennis Music. It follows a similar inflective tone to 'Omo X 100.'

Announcing the record, Reminisce wrote this on his Instagram page, "Happy to be doing this one. It's a song that brings back so many memories as it allows me to speak on fair-weather friends, family, expectations of fans and changed priorities.
