New comedy web series spoofs Davido and Omawumi

How many times have you found yourself quoting a line from your favourite song to get out of a situation?

Well if you’ve ever done this, you’ll totally be able to relate to the “Marriage Counsellor”.

On the first episode of the new web series, a couple whose relationship is on the rocks visit a marriage counsellor. During their therapy session, the man interprets his feelings using Nigerian singer Davido’s lyrics while the woman channels her feelings using songstress Omawumi’s lyrics and mannerisms.

During the session the troubled couple constantly break into songs by the two artists.

“Marriage Counsellor” is produced and developed by visual production company Rushing Tap.
