Kunle Afolayan, sponsor extend movie competition deadline

Afolayan said, "More important, the winner will also learn the commercial side of film making so that he or she is not just a good film maker, but also be a wealthy film maker.”

According to a joint statement from the producer of high budget movie, The CEO and sponsor, the deadline for application for the movie project was extended following requests from young film makers across the nation.

I will be looking out for creativity and inspiring stories. We do not expect participants to commit a huge budget to their documentaries, all you need is a story that commands attention."

On his part, Bethel Obioma, Head, Corporate Communications, Sahara Group, said the company was delighted to extend the previous deadline of July 25, 2016 in response to the quality of entries so far received and endless appeals from aspiring film makers.
