BBNaija 2019: 7 things that happened at the 7th Saturday night party

For the seventh Saturday Night Party, which took place on August 24, 2019, interesting activities went down in the club as well as after the party.

The seventh Saturday night party has seen viewers rating it as a unique one like the last three since the reality TV show began.

On the 55th day in the BBNaija Pepper Dem House, the 17 remaining housemates, which include two of the newly admitted members, threw caution in the air when they rocked to the DJ’s expertise behind the wheels of steel.

Here are the seven things that happened at the Saturday Night Party that you might have missed.

1. Diane rocks Elozonam on the dance floor

After all that happened during the week, the new lovebirds in the BBNaija house, Diane and Elozonam, gave the viewers so much to see about their ‘sailing’ ship. It all happened two hours into the show when Diane decided to rock Elozonam on the dance floor. Though the two had danced individually in the early part of the show, the last hour of the show saw Diane thrusting her behind to match Elozonam’s rhythm. The moment, which was noticed by few housemates, had many of the viewers concluding the two are the next set of lovers to take the front row.

2. Omashola misses his chance with Venita

Omashola has over the last 55 days become one of the controversial housemates alongside Ike in the BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem house. Omashola had begun rocking the party on a cool slate till one hour towards the end of the party when he decided to switch up the tempo. He was graced with a dance by Venita but rather than take up the opportunity, the Warri-representer pushed tried bending Venita over and she found it a bit offensive. The video vixen left Omashola high and dry.

3. Omashola grabs Mercy’s behind

Omashola sure had a good time at the 7th Saturday night party which was held in the BBNaija club on August 24, 2019. Omashola decided to dance with Mercy before the end of the show. Omashola didn’t stop at dancing but also used the opportunity to grab Mercy’s behind during the dance. Mercy, who didn’t object at first, seemed to have enjoyed every bit of the dance as she’s up for eviction. The move by Omashola got Elozonam and Diane too uncomfortable.

4. Ike finds his groove again

Not many viewers expected Ike to find his groove back. It seemed the American returnee found his groove in the club a few hours before Mercy knows her fate. Ike moved to the rhythm of the night and also found favour in Mercy, who was glad dancing with him. Since the kick-off of the BBNaija Season 4 Pepper Dem, Ike hardly dances at the Saturday Night Party. He would rather take pictures with the Oppo phones provided or engage in banter with Mike and other housemates.

5. DJ Switch gives housemates a run for their money

DJ Switch made it to the BBNaija Saturday Night Party as the seventh DJ since the commencement of the reality show on June 30, 2019. Like those before her that include DJ Xclusive, DJ Big N, DJ Kaywise, DJ Lambo, DJ Sose, and DJ Humility, DJ Switch made the housemates dance their hearts out. Switch’s unique style was dancing so sweet that it appeared she gave the housemates a run for their money. From the beginning of her performance till the end, DJ Switch balanced her dancing abilities with her DJ skills.

6. Seyi enjoys quiet time with Tacha

Rather than the usual drama associated with the moments after the Saturday night party, new couples and old couples decided to stick to one another. One of the couples that decided to enjoy a quiet time after the Saturday Night Party was Seyi and Tacha. Both housemates settled in Tacha’s bed to enjoy each other’s company. The had funny conversations before they were joined by Sir Dee.

7. "I will walk out when you walk out," Ike to Mercy

As the next eviction draws nearer, Ike and Mercy discussed more what would become of them if she leaves the house. While Mercy registered her suspicions that Ike would jump on another female housemate as soon as she’s out of the reality TV show, Ike insisted that what he shares with Mercy is real. He went further to tell Mercy not to dare him else, he will walk out of the show if Mercy was evicted. The couple discussed the possibilities and agreed that their affair is for real.

Elozoman joined the conversation explaining his Veto Power choice to Mercy and random discussions about Diane's use of her Veto Power. Just when he started the conversation, it soon turned into a vicious fight between Mercy and Ike. In a subtle attempt to switch the topic of conversation as Diane approached the group, a response from Ike got Mercy pissed and they immediately turned on each other. The quarrel was really intense as they hurled mean insults at each other. "You only care about the 60 million, you are selfish," Mercy yelled at him and as she walked away from him, her parting words were, "Go and sleep before you catch a strike and start crying like a little pussy." Both lovers however buried the hatchet.
