Singer extends her support to street kids

Waje has extended her hands of support to a new initiative aimed at rehabilitating street kids.

 

Waje, the visioneer behind Waje Safe House, is in a new partnership with TBWA/Concept to support Child Life-line, a charity dedicated to helping street kids.

The organisation recently launched the LINK Initiative, with the goal of giving hope to children on the streets.

Singer and UN Ambassador, Waje, also took the opportunity to launch her new single titled ‘African Child’, with the proceeds of the song going to Child Life-line to aid street children.

Speaking at the event, she enjoined other celebrities, individuals and corporate organizations to support the Child Life-line Organization in its effort to help the homeless Nigerian child and provide them with the promise of a better tomorrow.

The LINK Initiative launch event was held on October 1, 2015 as part of Nigeria’s 55 independence celebration, at Child Life-line office at No 8, Lateef Onigemo Street, Gbagada-Lagos. Want to support Child Life-line in alleviating the plight of street children?
