"My husband is my biggest fan and cheer leader"

OAP gushes about her husband and reveals shocking details about her love for Shina Peters

Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa has made it to the top as a talented Nigerian celebrity.

The 30 year old spoke to Encomium Weekly on February 3, 2015 about her experience being a married woman.

Toke Makinwa and husband Maje Ayida married after about 10 years of on and off dating. The celebrity couple have been married for a little more than a year now and Toke says the first year of marriage is the hardest. "We have been through a lot. If you are married you will understand the first year is the most difficult time in marriage. We have had our own fair share, but we somehow pulled it together."

The OAP who recently became an ambassador for Pay Porte gushed about all the great benefits of being married saying " Having a constant friend, 24/7. You always have someone to talk to. You never get out of conversation. You always have someone with you walking the earth. There is someone you pray with, play with and hold on to"

She took time to praise her husband Maje who owns a fitness and lifestyle company called Eden Lifestyle, "I am blessed to be married to him. He knew me before the Toke Makinwa that the world knows today, that has really helped. He has always known me. He was my greatest fan and cheer leader"

The broadcaster who has been in the business revealed something shocking about herself. Toke said when she was growing up she wanted to be a dancer for popular juju musician Shina Peters!
