But now, the mum of two has denied granting ThisDay a controversial interview that trended last week.

Speaking through her publicist, Bayo Adetu, the actress reiterated that she hasn't even granted any Nigerian media platform an interview in the past two years. "I can only remember speaking to Golden Icon in an interview more than two years ago, so I was surprised when the local media was awash with a purpoted interview I granted.

"To set the records straight, I didn't grant ThisDay any interview," she said.

Damasus’ first marriage was to Jaiye Aboderin, who died when she 26-years-old.

Her relationship to Daniel Ademinokan did not go down well with Doris Simeone, who claimed that her ex-husband left her for no good cause.
