Why Tiwa Savage, Tee Billz should not show their child on social media

This is what it has come to, people dissing celebs because they do not want to reveal the identity of their children.Nigerian female singer . I find this very ridiculous, another sad manifestation of our social media junkie generation. Tiwa and Tee Billz have every right to not show their baby's face. It's their baby, if you don't like it have yours and flaunt on social media.

In case you do not know, this couple live a very public life. That's part of the life they chose and signed up for, but their child did not sign up for the scrutiny and should be left out of the "all access" pass that social media zombies are crying for. It's hard living your life in public all the time. Celebrities need something or someone to remind them of the simple joys of life. Raising their kid from the media circus will ground them as parents, and as human beings as well.

I firmly believe that celebrities should not expose their private lives because they want to be relevant. Total access at the end of the day gives a free pass for people to trample over what you hold sacred, memories, relationships etc. The Baloguns have the moral right not to show their baby's face. Some things are more valuable than likes on Instagram.

I think Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz have been generous with their private lives by allowing media houses to cover their wedding in Dubai. Their eagerness to share their lives nearly led to their split back in September 2014. Thankfully they did not and they were able to move on. It seems they even learnt a lot from the troubled times and scaled back on the Instagram activities.

Why they are teasing people with the picture of their baby even baffles me. Tiwa is a singer. Tee Billz is a manager. Their child has nothing to do with their lives in public. I think a lot of celebrities go into trouble when they make things that are meant to be private, public. Michael Jackson had a good reason why he covered the faces of his kids.

Just with these tease photos, some people are insinuating that the kid is not theirs, and they are trying to cover it up. There are other silly statements like "why is the baby fair", and "the kid looks like 2face that is why they are hiding his face." Just as I wrote earlier, free access into your life welcomes crap like these.

In an era where the gap between celebrity and fan is shrinking by the second, stars have to clearly separate their private lives from their public lives. When there's too much access many crazy people will trample on what you hold sacred. There are too many examples like this.

P.S In our poll yesterday, Pulse readers (56.4)% do not want Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz to hide their son's face. 21.8% would like them to not show their baby's face while 21.8% are indifferent.
