Iggy Azalea's trust in Nick Young finally breaks down

Rapper Iggy Azalea, 26, must feel like crap right now. After being in a three-year relationship with LA Lakers star Nick Young, 31, the rapper has called it quits in not too pretty circumstances.

Earlier this month Azalea announced on her Instagram page that it was over with Young. “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild trust in him - It's become apparent in the last few weeks that I'm unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page” she wrote on Instagram.

This looked like a simple relationship breakup but further details show a messy split.

After their breakup media sites started reporting that Nick Young has impregnated his baby mama and that is why Iggy Azalea broke up with him. Unfortunately, that was not the truth. Iggy Azalea ended her relationship because Nick Young brought different women to their home.

The smoke in the relationship between Iggy Azalea and Nick Young had been out for a while before it was consumed by fire. In March 2015, D’Angelo Russell who is a team mate of Nick Young leaked a video where he confessed to sleeping with a woman while he was dating Iggy Azalea.

The Australian rapper decided to forgive her boyfriend despite the fact that he cheated on her. At this period Iggy was engaged to him.

“Iggy is giving in to Nick and his apologies for the whole video situation,” a source close to the rapper told Hollywood Life. The forgiveness came with some conditions though.

“He has promised her that he will not hang out with D'angelo outside of NBA responsibilities and he will focus all his attention on making their relationship strong and a priority again,” the source explained.

It seems the promise wasn’t worth much. Nick Young was back to his old ways almost immediately. For Iggy Azalea she has been hurt by a man for the second time, a man who she wanted to spend her life with.

Nick Young at the end of the day is your average, stereotypical African American athlete with his messy love life.
