Singer admits that ex manager's arrest was publicity stunt

Barely days after the arrest, OritseFemi, has admitted that the arrest was a publicity stunt, while announcing their reunion.

There has been a lot of animosity and bad blood between the pair since OritseFemi threatened to sue Danku for using the logo of his record label MSN without his express permission.

The singer made the revelation during a press interview on Sunday, July 3, 2016, going further to apologise for every inconvenience caused by their actions.

"Our rifts have been in the news for the wrong reasons and lots of allegations we indicted on ourselves have cost lots of damage to our career. All the things that have been mentioned about me and my manager throughout the scenario are all promotional strategies a.ka publicity stunts. We apologize for the inconveniences we might have caused the fans. We are back for real business. My friends in the media, I thank you a lot for finding out time to grace this important parley. May God bless you”.

The drama between OritseFemi and Danku had gotten messier over time, to include the manager's mother, Mrs. Funmilayo Adepitan, as the singer revealed that he would arrest them over a N1 million loan he had given her.

Of course, Mrs. Adepitan refuted the accusations while calling the singer ungrateful during an interview with The Net.

In May 2015, OritseFemi through his lawyers filed a petition stating that his then manager, Danku had become a 'threat to his life'.
