Former child star, Keshia Knight Pulliam has found inspiration in her divorce as she reveals her unborn daughter's name.

Making the revelation on Friday, August 19, 2016, via her Play.it podcast called, 'Kandidly Keshia', the former 'Cosby Show' child star said:

“I was back and forth on if I wanted to share this or not, but I decided that I would because it is so hard for me to keep it in.

“I’m so excited about her. Her name is … Ella Grace.”

Although Ella had been chosen before now, Keshia admitted that the recent events surrounding her and her estranged husband, Ed Hartwell, had inspired the name 'Grace'.

She added:

“When I tell you through all of this the grace of God has so been with us and has covered us and protected us — she’s been my saving grace to get through it. It’s knowing that it’s not about me. Knowing that on days when I want to curl up in the bed, pull the covers over my head and cry until my eyes fall out, that is not an option because she feels everything I feel, and right now, it is bigger than me — it’s about her. It is about her being OK.”

Keshia first announced her pregnancy via Instagram on Sunday, July 17, sharing a photo of herself holding a cake with pink frosting which indicated the sex of her unborn baby.

Exactly one week after, it was reported that Hartwell was filing for divorce and demanding a paternity test for what is assumed to be their baby.

TMZ reports that Hartwell has refused to acknowledge the baby in the divorce proceedings as well, although they have kept a tight lid on the reasons behind the divorce.

In recent court filings, Keshia accused Hartwell of plotting to 'obstruct' her pregnancy, adding that he has been mentally and emotionally abusive.

So far, Hartwell has denied the claims, revealing during an interview with Page Six TV on Thursday, July 26, that they had stopped having sex early in their marriage, adding that he had wanted to focus on them while Keshia had been bent on having a baby.
