'We are proud of pop singer,' Sony Music says

With things already unfolding, one can easily predict a good year for the star

 

Nigerian pop musician, Davido is setting goals and he is definitely achieving them.

The star just sealed a deal with Sony Music Worldwide in New York.

Davido is not the only one thrilled by the music deal, top executives from the company have taking time to comment about their anticipation after bringing the star on board.

The Managing Director, Sony Music Entertainment Africa, John Watson said, “Working with incredible talent like Davido heralds a new era for Sony Music Entertainment Africa on the continent. We couldn’t be prouder of our partnership with Davido and we are extremely keen to support his vision to succeed at the highest level in our industry.”

The appreciation for his style of music has apparently gained influence outside the shores of his home country.

Sony Entertainment will be looking at making him a world renowned music talent.

Another top official from the company had this to say, “We are thrilled to welcome Davido into the Sony Music family.  We are very much looking forward to bringing one of Africa’s biggest stars to the world. We are also excited to partner with Kamal Ajiboye, Davido’s manager as well as Efe Ogbeni, who will be executive producing the album on our behalf”.
