Singer's brother has a few hours to live after battling cancer

R&B legend, Celine Dion, most be going through one of the worst periods of her life as her brother, , has been reveald to have a few hours to live after battling with Cancer for a while now.

This news comes on the heels of the death of the singer's husband and manager, René Angélil, who had also lost his battle against Cancer at age 73.

Angélil had reportedly died after a drawn out battle with throat Cancer, yesterday, January 14.

The couple had gotten married on December 17, 1994 and have 3 sons: René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twins, Eddy and Nelson.

Sadly, Celine's older brother, Daniel, 59, is hospitalised at Montreal, Celine's native home, surrounded by family and loved ones, including 88-year-old mother, Therese.

Members of Daniels family are reported to have gathered by his side after he had been revealed to be 'dying'.

Celine's sister, Claudette, while speaking with the Journal of Montreal, had said:

"It's very painful. It's a matter of days or hours. It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain. Our family is very experienced.

"We are with Daniel, day and night. He is 59 years old, very young to be the end of life."

Celine, 47, and mother-of-3, who is reportedly the youngest of 14 children, shared the sad news about her brother's condition to Entertainment Tonight, today, January 15.

The grieving star is reported to have cancelled her January 16 and January 17 performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, upon hearing the sad news.

Celine will reportedly resume performances on February 23.
