The singer took to the stage at the just concluded All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) awards to lend her voice to the call for a greater investment in Nigeria on healthcare.

Dressed in an electric blue Samuel Noon dress Waje said, “Music has been used as a tool for social change in our communities, as we sit here to enjoy Africa’s best, some people are either at home or in the hospital fighting for their lives, or mourning the passing of loved ones. Millions of Nigerians, especially women and children are losing their lives from completely preventable causes. 750,000 children under five die in this country every year.”

"As artists, we must do something about this; add your voice and support the Make Naija Stronger campaign” she added.

ONE Executive Director Nachilala Nkombo also commended over 2 million Africans who supported the ONE Campaign in 2014.
