Rector says LASPOTECH has produced over 120k graduates in 40 years

LASPOTECH Rector says the school since it was established in 1977 has produced many eminent personalities.

Sogunro according to the News Agency of Nigeria said this at a press briefing to mark the polytechnic’s 40th anniversary, tagged: ‘Lofty at Forty’.

The Rector also said LASPOTECH has produced such eminent personalities as Mrs Yetunde Onanuga, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Mr Bisi Onasanya, former Group Managing Director, First Bank Nigeria.

He said, the likes of “ actor, film director and award-winning icon, (aka Adekunle Gold), music star, and , former Commissioner of Finance, Lagos State.

“Mrs , Managing Director, Staco Insurance Plc, Former Managing Director, Cornerstone Insurance, , cinematographer and winner of Africa Movie Viewers’ Choice.

“, award-winning investigative reporter and Head, Crime Desk, Nation Newspaper and the late thespian, , among others,”

The Rector of the Polytechnic also announced that the institution has engaged Miss Omosalewa Babalola, a formal student of the institution who emerged the best graduating student in 2014/2015 academic session.

Babalola graduated with the cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.0 on a scale of 4.0 in 2014/2015 academic session.
