The Baltimore Ravens back runner was filmed hitting on the hapless female an act which earned him a two match ban suspension

However, the American public is calling for a stiffer sanction than the two match suspension

NFL officials have been lambasted for the mild punishment on a treatment so harsh

The incident occurred in an elevator on February 15 at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

“It is disappointing that I will not be with my teammates for the first two games of the season, but that's my fault. As I said earlier, I failed in many ways.

“But, Janay and I have learned from this. We have become better as a couple and as parents. I am better because of everything we have experienced since that night. The counselling has helped tremendously.”
