Hull KR were the latest victims of a Rhinos rampage as Super League leaders Leeds prevailed 36-16 on Friday.

The hosts, for whom Kevin Sinfield scored 16 points, did not have it all their own way in the first half at Headingley Stadium, with KR running in four tries - all of which were unconverted - to trail by just two points at the interval.

But Brian McDermott's side were rampant after the break, racking up 18 unanswered points to move three points clear at the top.

Sinfield's haul moved the veteran up to third on the all-time leading Super League points scorers list.

St Helens are their nearest rivals after climbing to second with a 17-10 win over Hull FC, who had levelled it up at 10 apiece just before the hour mark courtesy of Jordan Abdul's try.

Elsewhere, Warrington Wolves beat Salford Red Devils 34-18.
