Cameroon rapper
The 'Hein Pere' crooner picked up his award thanks to his distinguished work on his debut album, 'Soldier Like My Papa' released in 2015. Stanley also took home the 'Best Video of the Year' award for 'King Kong' video released in 2015.
Despite receiving tons of congratulatory messages via all social media platforms on Saturday, some other Cameroonians slammed the rapper for not being as good as his rival Jovi LeMonstre
However, top media personality, Krystn Emen came to the rapper's defense with a lengthy post on her Facebook account on Sunday night… saying:
"Until Stanley Enow, nobody knew that Cameroonians even did music, it was always oh! Football, oh Eto (even though that is dead as well) People always asked me, oh you guys don't have musicians in Cameroon? But thanks to Stanley, we have some kind of representation on the contemporary scene. Nigerians and the rest of Africa have begun to recognize Cameroon. You may say he's untalented but at least he's working hard and pushing his 'crap'", she wrote.
