The new
Rohr a fortnight ago signed a two year contractwith the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as the new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.
As he gradually sets up his coaching crew for the Super Eagles duties, reports have it that he has informed the NFF of his intention of having Siasia with him.
The German according to the reports made this request during a meeting with some members of the NFF technical committee in Spain last week.
He is said to be impressed with Siasia’s tactics and team set-up of the Dream Team VI at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Rohr is also looking to integrate some of the Dream Team VI players in to the Super Eagles team.
The German who was in Spain to watch the NPFL-All star in games against Valencia and Malaga also revealed that he will use the experience to focus more on stars in the domestic league.
“I’m here to watch the games and then meet with everyone involved with the national teams,” Rohr told npfl.ng.
Rohr is preparing for Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Zambia in October.
