Author reveals her favourite Harry Potter character

When she was asked on Twitter who her favourite Harry Potter character was apart from Harry?

Her answer?

Albus Dumbledore; the wisest of sages, and a character Rowling has handed some of the series' most poignant, beautifully penned pieces of dialogue.

It's through the reflections and guidance of Hogwarts' headmaster that the author could espouse such inspirational life philosophies as, "it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be."

On the plus side, the magic of J.K. Rowling’s world of witchcraft and wizardry will soon be gracing our cinema screens again — in the form of the highly anticipated “Harry Potter” spinoff, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

The film (promised to be part of a trilogy) is due to hit theaters in November.
