The musician and performer who has been classed as an alternative music artist was asked to describe what pop music means to her. She describes pop music as popular music while other people also see it as a sound.

"Pop music to me is popular music, people have this debate, describing pop music as a sound but the way I conceptualise it, pop music is popular music, so a perfect example is with who released her album and her face was all over Toronto and Lekki Phase One roundabout, everyone was listening to her music, though it's not a traditional pop sound but her music was popular"  Falana explained, adding that if you make music that a lot of people can relate to, that's pop music.

Based on that reality, the singer affirmed that she will make music that comes natural to her and that's the best she can do but she is open to intentionally experiment with sounds that she likes, saying her type of music cannot be placed into one box or class.

She points out rhythm as that one special ingredient that makes Nigerian  pop music so appealing, which is also present in her music.

On her upcoming projects, she revealed she is working on releasing a full length debut album of which she wouldn't give a release date for so as not to disappoint anyone.

She talks about new songs that she performs at her Pop-up Uncover'd concert series which she is usually not sure how acceptable they are  until she performs them at the concerts.

"You know Fela used to do this, every week, performing new songs, songs that no one has ever heard and every time you went to see Fela, you weren't going to hear the same thing, that's the  level that I think about" the gifted performer said.
