According to the manufacturers, the Nike Ordem V football has a unique construction which distributes pressure evenly across the ball to ensure an accurate strike.

The Nike Ordem V football has a feature called the ‘Aerotrac grooves’ which the manufacturers say ensures a stable flight when the ball is in the air.

Another feature 'Distorted Motion Graphic'  makes the ball flicker when it rotates. This makes the ball visible to players so they can make decisions quicker.

Since 2008, Nike has used a new ball every season.

The Nike T90 Omni (2008-2009), Nike T90 Ascente (2009-2010), Nike T90 Tracer (2010-2011), Nike Seitiro (2011-2012), Nike Maxim (2012-2013), Nike Incyte (2013-2014), Nike Ordem 2 (2014-2015) and Nike Ordem 3 (2015-2016).

The Nike Ordem V, the fourth in its Ordem series will be available on Nike's official website from June 5.
