The Spanish quintet of Sandra Aguilar, Artemi Gavezou-Castro, Elena Lopez, Lourdes Mohedano and Alejandra Quereda created plenty of suspense in a wonderfully constructed routine that earned 17.433 points from the judges.

Israel clinched a shock silver medal as the likes of Italy and Bulgaria made mistakes in their routines, while Belarus rounded off the top three.

Russia duly followed Spain's lead with a well-crafted performance in the Three Balls and Two Ribbons, as the team of Daria Avtonomova, Diana Borisova, Anastasiia Maksimova, Aleksandra Semenova, Anastasiia Tatareva and Maria Tolkacheva scored 17.950 points.

Bulgaria, who were crowned Groups All-Around champions on Saturday, earned the silver medal with Belarus again taking third place.
