Players sometimes can get the best out of each other, and that was the reason Mourinho asked Gianluca Mancini to man mark Osimhen and sent Cristante after Lorenzo Insigne.
The moves worked perfectly as Mancini and Cristante tamed Osimhen and Insigne all through the game and Napoli struggled to enough scoring opportunities.
Mancini's performance epitomized the type of squad player he is and why it was treated as such a big blow for Osimhen who couldn't get the best of him.
