Ubisoft records $192 million profit

French video game developer and publisher Ubisoft announced today that its sales rose 45 percent year over year to $1.65 billion from $1.13 billion.

That amounted to a $192 million profit for the year. Revenue from the digital segment grew to 26.1 percent of total sales.

In contrast, competitors EA and Activision said that 52 percent and 46 percent of their most recent sales for the year in review, came from digital sales.
