Social media giant launches new Like button with five emoji's

Facebook has officially rolled out the changes made to its new Like button. The new button now comes with five new emoji's along with the original like icon which we are all familiar with.

The feature will be available on the platform's web and mobile apps, but the roll out isn't global yet. If you don't have the new button yet, it will get to you soon enough.

To use the new button on the mobile app, you will just have to press down the Like button, and the new buttons will emerge, after which you can then pick whichever emoji you like.

As for web. You just have to move your mouse cursor over the like button and the same options will pop up so you can choose the emoji you best like to use.

Innovation Village reports that the feature has already been available in some countries since last year.

For many years, some users of the Facebook platform have been advocating for a dislike button. This may be the compromise Facebook hopes will placate its billions of users and elevate the experience on the platform.
