Three High Court buildings in Rivers State were today, February 2, rocked by explosions.
The bombings reportedly occurred on the premises of the Degema, Isiokpo and Port Harcourt courts.
The Degema court is said to have suffered the worst of the attack as it was completely burnt with several valuable documents lost.
The Degema Local Government Caretaker chairman, Ibigoni Pokima, added that the attackers also burnt the judge's office.
The explosions occurred just 2 days after the Rivers State branch of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), suspended its eight-month-old strike.
The incident has been confirmed by the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Ahmad Muhammad.
