As an official ambassador, K1 De Ultimate got a Geely car, after his official appointment from the Oyo state governor, Biola Ajimobi.
Nigeria Films reports that Governor initiated the manufacturing and assembling of Geely cars in Ibadan, in order to reduce the importation of foreign cars and provide employment.
K1’s Manager, Esther Akinwande, has released a statement saying more cars will be launched during the third quarter of 2016.
Last year, Kunle Afolayan was unveiled as the brand ambassador for Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Ltd.
Afolayan, shared the good news on Instagram.
“The official Brand ambassador for Peugeot! What a way to wrap the year. I bless you lord . Ire”
Just like K1 De Ultimate, Afolayan got a new 508 Sedan, which he called "a machine."
