New England Patriots tight end, Aaron Hernandez has been linked to the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd.
Lloyd dated Hernandez’s fiancee’s sister and was found dead, bullet-ridden on June 17.
A shell casing stuck to a blue bubble gum in a car rented by the 25 year-old indicted him.
According to a witness who worked at the Enterprise Car Rental Company, Hernandez returned ‘’a damaged Nissan Altima on the afternoon of June 17, 2013.’’
Keelia Smyth, former manager at Enterprise said that the former Patriots player returned he damaged Nissan Ultima, seven days after he rented it, demanding an SUV but instead she offered him a Kia Soul.
He rejected it saying that ‘'he couldn't be seen dead in that.’' Hernandez went away with a Chrysler.
Police found the bullet casing, in a trash bin where Ms Smyth disposed them.
The judge is yet to rule on a judgement in the time being.
Aaron Hernandez is currently incarcerated without option of bail.
His former team, New England Patriots are 2015 Super Bowl Champions, they beat Seattle Seahawks 28-24 on February 2, in Glendale, Arizona.
