There’s so much love about street food, and life in Lagos would not be complete without it. These street foods are sold everywhere, in every nook and cranny of Lagos. At motor parks, on the street, in traffic, everywhere. They are usually not expensive and delicious, and that makes it more appealing. You can get varieties of these street foods, but here are some of the best street foods you should definitely try in Lagos

1.      Boli: This is made from plantain. The plantain is roasted or either grilled, but most roadside boli are usually grilled. It can be accompanied by roasted groundnut, pepper sauce or roasted yam, but it's mostly sold with roasted groundnut

2.      Suya: Suya is a spicy meat skewer that is mostly sold at nights because of the belief that it only tastes good when sold at night. It is sold on a newspaper with some onions, cabbage and dried paper.

4.      Akara: Akara is a made with beans, pepper and other ingredient. It is one of the best street foods for breakfast. It can either be served with pap, bread or garri.

5.      Corn: This can either be in the form of roasted corn or boiled corn. The boiled corn can be served with coconut, while the roasted corn can be served with pears and avocado.

6.      Moin moin: Moin Moin is a bean pudding made from beans, onion and peppers. It can either be wrapped with a nylon or leaves but moin moin wrapped with leaves tastes different.
