A breakfast mocktail is any sort of mixed-up juice, something frilled up for a fizzy wake-up in the sunshine. Here's a favorite: orange juice mixed with sparkling mineral water and elderflower syrup.

The water lightens up the thick orange juice so it's more refreshing and less filling, and the syrup adds a floral sweetness to the tangy orange juice. Squeeze in the juice of a lime wedge and garnish, and you're set for a fizzy, sweet, refreshing summer morning drink.

Ingredients

2 parts orange juice, chilled
