The Critics' Choice Awards 2016 held last night January 17th in California and a lot of stars stepped the glam up a notch.

The ladies chose subtle colours with black making style statements on the red carpet as it was one of the favourite colours of the night.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley chose a black showstopping asymmetric neckline dress with front slit with her fiancé Jason Statham by her side. Shanice Williams opted for a simple bandeau jumpsuit.

Tracee Ellis-Ross chose a showstopping black dress with embellished multi coloured cap sleeves with Zoe Kravitz in a colour block look featuring a sling top over tapered pants.

Other celebrities on the red carpet include Bryce Dallas Howard who made heads turn in a deep plunging neckline dress with front slit. Niecy Nash was a sight to behold in pink monostrap top and matching flowing skirt.
