Music Jamboree! Ghana Gears Up Towards The Ghana Music Awards 2013

London stand up!  <strong>Azonto</strong> is on the way! This year’s <strong>Ghana Music Awards</strong> is moving to <strong>Europe</strong>! It is the country’s biggest music night in Europe and there are big promises being made of which none can afford to fail.

Ghanaian music is huge and has not only traveled far beyond the Gold Coast, it has clinched international stars to its routine. Most importantly, Ghana music now defines a percentage of what the culture represents as well as the behavior of her citizens. There is no doubt that assembling the best of the best from this enriching music industry in Europe will be a glorious arena for entertainment.

The 2013 GMA is about the celebration of  African culture  and Ghana’s music but on a larger and a more exposed platform. Who knows? Beyonce might end up adding the famous ‘azonto’ dance steps to her next choreography like she did the Jamaican move in “Who Runs The World” video.

August 9 at the Indigo 2 center in London, big names like Sarkodie, Efya, Fuse ODG, Kojo Antwi, BET Nominee R2Bees and many others shall hold it down for the ambiance and promotion of African music.  Last year’s event had performances by Charles Amoah, Goerge Darko and Amakye Dede and raking over 3000 live audience with close to 700 people outside. What will this year register with this mammoth of talents plus other artists from the rest of Africa?
