Klay Thompson leads Warriors to blow out Lakers with LeBron James still injured
Klay Thompson was the hero as reigning champions Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 130-111 in an NBA encounter played on Tuesday, January 22.
The Warriors avenged their Xmas day defeat at home to the Lakers which saw star player LeBron James sustain a groin injury.
James has still been out injured since then and could only watch as his teammates were blown out by the Warriors.
Thompson was the hero for the Warriors dropping 44 points converted his first 10 three point attempts to cement his legacy as one of the greatest shooters to play the game.
He had help from Kevin Durant who dropped 20 points , Steph Curry adding 12 assists and 11 points.
