A tweet showing the casts of the new Harry Potter Play irked fans who felt Hermoine was White.

Rowling said Noma Dumezweni, who will play the beloved character in the upcoming West End play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” was chosen for the role because of her talent. Huff Post reported.

“With my experience of social media, I thought that idiots were going to idiot,” Rowling said.

“But what can you say? That’s the way the world is. Noma was chosen because she was the best actress for the job.”

Get over it potterheads,  if the producers of this play wish to cast someone with dark skin so be it.

If the author herself has no problem then no one should.

Let's all chill and enjoy the play.
