England have added Somerset seamer Jamie Overton to their squad for the remaining two one-day internationals with New Zealand.

Overton has been called up as a replacement for Yorkshire pace bowler Liam Plunkett, who has a thigh strain.

He joins twin brother Craig in the squad after his sibling came in as cover for the injured Chris Jordan.

Both players are uncapped at international level but have performed well for Somerset since making their respective first-class debuts in 2012.

Craig has taken 79 wickets in 26 first-class games at an average of 26.30 while Jamie has claimed 59 dismissals in 28 matches in the four-day game.

England trail New Zealand 2-1 in the five-match series after a three-wicket defeat in Sunday's third ODI at the Rose Bowl.

The duo could become the first twins to play in the same match for England in the fourth game with the Black Caps at Trent Bridge on Wednesday.
